mEinstein Privacy Policy

Welcome to mEinstein

mEinstein AI, Inc. and its affiliates ("mEinstein," "we," "our," or "us") provide a mobile-native personal AI platform designed around user choice, on-device intelligence, and data minimization. This Privacy Policy explains how we may access, process, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with the mEinstein application, related websites, and associated services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy is intended to work together with our in-app disclosures, permission prompts, consent flows, and product controls. Where a feature is optional, you decide whether to enable it, whether to connect a source, whether to grant permissions, and whether to revoke them later. Features described below may not be available in all versions of the app or in all jurisdictions.

mEinstein is built around an on-device, user-controlled architecture. By default, many personal AI features are designed so that the data they use remains locally on your device rather than being automatically uploaded to the cloud for ordinary feature use. This may include, depending on the features you choose to enable, data relating to your finances, health records, transactions, personal organization, activities and interests, family-related information, home and auto management, travel, AI generated assistance, AI conversations, daily routine and local recommendations. Certain limited data may be processed on our servers where necessary to create or secure your account, operate user-authorized marketplace or payment features, provide support, comply with law, protect against fraud or abuse, or carry out another function you specifically request or authorize.

1. Information We May Access or Process

Depending on the features you choose to use, mEinstein may access or process:
  • account and registration information, such as your name, email address, login credentials, and basic profile details.
  • device, diagnostic, and security information, such as device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, and security event data
  • marketplace and transaction administration information necessary to operate user-authorized marketplace features, payment flows, or compliance processes.
  • on-device content and signals that power optional personal AI features, where those features are enabled by you. and
  • information from connected sources that you choose to link, such as location-based Daily Routine data, health portals, or email-derived transaction records.

Some features are designed so that personal and sensitive user data remains locally on your device by default unless and until you take separate action that authorizes a specific transfer, transaction, or other use.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and secure the Services, authenticate users, operate marketplace functionality, respond to support requests, comply with law, prevent fraud, monitor app performance, and deliver features you choose to enable.

Where a feature is designed to work on-device, we intend for the relevant data to be processed locally on your device unless a separate transfer is required for a user-authorized function. We do not sell personal and sensitive user data. If you choose to use a marketplace or transfer feature, any transfer of data or derived outputs occurs only through your separate, affirmative, user-initiated action under the consent flow and transaction terms for that feature..

3. Location Access

mEinstein may request access to your device location to enable the optional Daily Routine feature. If you choose to enable Daily Routine, the app may access location data, including in the background where permitted by your device settings and the permissions you grant, in order to detect trips, places visited, time spent, and movement patterns so your personal AI can build a private Daily Routine timeline and provide you with insights.

Location Access is optional and remains under your control. You decide whether to enable Daily Routine, whether to grant foreground or background location access where those options are available, whether to keep that permission enabled, and whether to revoke it later. You may turn the feature off or change location permissions at any time through available app controls or your device settings.

By default, raw Daily Routine location history and the resulting timeline are intended to remain stored locally on your device. They are not automatically uploaded to mEinstein servers for ordinary Daily Routine functionality. mEinstein does not use raw on-device Daily Routine location history for advertising and does not automatically sell or share that raw history with data brokers or unrelated third parties.

Your personal AI may use your on-device Daily Routine data only if you enable the feature. If mEinstein later offers a marketplace flow involving Daily Routine-related data, that use must be separately enabled by you through an additional consent or transaction flow. Unless you expressly choose otherwise within that flow, your raw on-device location history is not automatically uploaded for marketplace participation.

4. Health Records

mEinstein may offer you the option to connect existing health portals, provider accounts, or other supported health data sources so that you can view, organize, and use your health information inside the app. This feature is optional and is activated only if you choose to connect a supported source.

If you choose to use this feature, mEinstein may access information made available through the connected source, such as medical records, visit summaries, diagnoses, medications, laboratory results, procedures, immunizations, or other health-related records. By default, this information is intended to be aggregated and stored locally on your device rather than automatically transmitted to mEinstein servers for ordinary feature use.

You remain in control of whether your personal AI uses this on-device health information to generate summaries, reminders, insights, or other assistance for you. mEinstein does not automatically upload, sell, or share your raw health records for marketplace use. Any future marketplace participation involving healthrelated information, if offered, must be based on your separate, informed, affirmative action and will be governed by the specific consent flow, permissions, and transaction terms presented to you at that time.

You may disconnect a health source, revoke permissions, stop using the feature, or delete locally stored health information through available app controls or device settings, subject to technical limitations and any legal obligations that may apply to server-side account or transaction records

5. Transactions and Email-Derived Purchase Data

mEinstein may offer you the option to connect one or more email accounts or other supported message sources so that the app can identify and organize transaction-related communications such as receipts, order confirmations, invoices, shipping notices, reservations, and similar records. This feature is optional and is enabled only if you choose to connect a supported account.

If you choose to use this feature, mEinstein may access and process the message content and related metadata reasonably necessary to identify transaction-related communications and create a structured transaction history for your use. By default, the resulting transaction information is intended to be processed and stored locally on your device rather than automatically transmitted to mEinstein servers for ordinary feature use.

You control whether your personal AI uses this on-device transaction information to provide summaries, reminders, spending insights, planning support, or similar assistance. mEinstein does not automatically upload, sell, or share your raw email-derived transaction history for marketplace use. Any marketplace participation involving transaction-related information, if offered, requires your separate, informed, affirmative action and is subject to the specific consent flow, permissions, and transaction terms presented to you at that time.

You may disconnect a connected account, revoke permissions, stop using the feature, or delete locally stored transaction data through available app controls or device settings.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We may disclose limited information to service providers, infrastructure providers, payment processors, compliance vendors, professional advisors, regulators, or law enforcement where necessary to operate the Services, complete a user-authorized transaction, comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, or respond to valid legal process.

Where content is designed to remain only on-device and has not been transmitted to or stored by us, we generally do not receive, retain, or have access to that content and therefore may be unable to produce it in response to a request.

We do not disclose personal and sensitive user data to third parties except as necessary for the limited purposes described in this Privacy Policy, as required by law, or as specifically authorized by you through an in-product action or consent flow.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain server-side personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including security, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. On-device information that is designed to remain local generally remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, disconnect the source, or revoke the relevant permission, subject to how your device and operating system handle local storage.

You may request deletion of account-level information we hold by contacting support@mEinstein.ai, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request portability of certain personal information that we hold. You may also withdraw permissions you have granted to the app, disconnect connected sources, and disable optional features at any time through app controls, account settings, or device settings, as applicable.

Where a feature relies on your permission or connection to a third-party source, disabling that permission or disconnecting that source may limit or stop the related feature from functioning.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to the nature of the data and the risks involved. Where personal and sensitive user data is designed to remain on-device, the security of that data also depends in part on your device settings, operating system protections, and your own steps to secure access to your device and accounts.

No method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
